That first one is just not impressive to me, sorry. It\'s static, not particularly crisp and frankly a little derivative. Maybe had I not seen their previous work, which is nothing short of amazing, I wouldn\'t feel quite so let down about it. It just doesn\'t stand out like their other work.
The second figure is a big improvement. Face is more defined, pose is a lot more dynamic, and though unfinished seems to be much more in line with what I\'ve seen them do in the past.
Are they limiting themselves because of the choice to use plastic? With their talent, I\'d rather see multi-part metal minis that really showcase their abilities and don\'t force limitations on their designs.

Well, I like it but that\'s abit extreme lol Actually, I think the first figure does have a lot of character (there just aren\'t enough pestle and mortars in the mini-world these days). That second one looks promising too though I\'m a little concerned about the axe near his groin - an accident waiting to happen methinks lol Anyway, nice stuff, very interested in seeing more :beer:Originally posted by frenchkid
I had kind of the same feeling with the first mini too, but coming back on it, I\'m licking it more and more.
