Seems that it\'s about time I get a real light set-up, allow me to explain...
Since the dawn of my attempt at painting display, I\'ve either painted in my room with one light bulb illuminating the cluttered surface that passes for a painting desk, at another poorly lit area in my family room, and a slightly better section that I thought was perfect.
And then I took the display mini outside
ossessed:.
This is possibly the reason why I see minis in the 7\'s and think to myself, I can do that! Unfortunately with the current light set-up it is difficult to spot blends and where I\'ve painted the highlights/shades already and where I haven\'t, etc.
My point? I want this to be a lesson (and a reminder to myself
) Always paint in good lighting! Your newest piece may look good under \'average\' lighting, but when you bring it into the daylight or under a lamp, the \'rougher\' look is undeniable.
Basically, don\'t be a fool, proper lighting is cool!
