Do I detect a futile distinction between reality and fantasy. ;)

Mine would be; MAH-drah-roo or MODDA-roo, depending on which dialect you prefer. :) Take your pick, I\'m quite easy (unless your name is Donna.)

Been on the pint tonight so sorry for interupting.

Just had thought. Anyone been mistaken for their user name? What I mean is, has anyone ever had someone think your user name is your real name?

I realize for most poeple here this is obviosly not true, as their names are clearly not based in realitly. But there may be people out there that get mistaken for their user name (handle). For example if Shawn RL was actully named Mike.

I remember chatting with someone recently and pointing out my name was not infact Gilvan and they were rather upset by this.

Tony Manero is really called Marco.

Just a thought, anybody seen him for a while?

You\'re a free kina cage haha, whatever a kina cage is..

No, I know its freak in a cage, really. I can imagine people saying mine like \'Tan\' but it is not. Tar-n is the proper way, I came up with it when naming the master shaper of my kroot (i am sad like that) by mixing letters in a phrase about. Kroot Tau became Khowat Tahn :)

Rod-nick...obviously.

Nothin\' special about it...simply a random name for an old D&D character.
It\'s *not* the very expensive Russian vodka....although I am considering changing my story.

Or..you can just call me Kevin, Kev, Kebbo...or whatever other derivative of Kevin you want.
My wife calls me \"That bastard that lives with me.\".....but that\'s generally reserved for her.

treide is the first one that is far from how I would have pronounced it. (tray eed)

I have never actually heard anyone pronounce mine but I\'m pretty sure everyone would pronounce it vince.

Well, as my name is Vincent but people just seem to drop the last part I assume people would always shorten it, regardless of what came after the vince.

Wow until you pointed it out, I thought it was Elnion as in El Nion. Totally missed that was an i for some reason.

I thought it was from Lovecraft. But I wasn\'t sure.

E-Arkham, \"E\" as in ...um ...\"E\" and \"Arkham\" as in Lovecraft. It used to be hyphenated (E-Arkham) but was condensed cause Chern Ann removed all special characters from CMON user names some time back. :)
