EDIT: This came up because last night my rank was 1690, now it\'s 1673 or so...

I\'ve had my own guesses about what makes your rank, but what is the real reason for our ranks ?

Is it as I think, number of submissions with 50 or more votes?

or

Is it a elaborate (for me at least ) formula that takes all the minis you have submitted with more than 50 votes, then combines the score of all your models, then divides them by the number of submissions?

EDIT: Last one would make most sense in my opinion... frankly... that number would be great to be able to see, along with the rank, when you view a profile...

Or is it something different???

I think alot of people would like to know this...

if it averaged all of your minis, people would drop all but their top 5 once they had 50 votes.

If I look back into my gallery, I can see the improvements I have made as a painter and am quite glad that the older minis do not count towards my ranking.

You guys didn\'t know... just showing a rank without knowing what it stands for.

It\'s expained in more details on top of the top artists page.
I like this system BTW, fair and efficient, and youre not judged for your worst, only your best.. when your very first mini is in your gallery, that counts alot.

being a lazy mini painter just got easier! i will have to revise my strategy now though - i have been aiming for \"better than my average\" now ill have to aim for \"better than #5.\"
