Really bad movie

I was bored and noticed the library had a copy of Batman and Robin so hey, no money, can\'t lose, right?

I knew the movie was supposed to be bad, but nothing could have prepared me for the abysmally horrific movie that was BR.

It didn\'t look like a single actor ever bothered to rehearse.
Everything was over the top in what appeared to be an attempt to do a dark knight version of the 60s show. But no one had the camp timing of Adam West.

And it didn\'t help that the director was gay - had to be what with all the crotch and butt views of Batman. And he had Uma Therman and she never even showed cleavage (give my Dangerous Lieasons anyday) and Vivica Fox only had about 3 seconds of screen time.

Plus the cheesy animation sucked.

Of course as I was alone and bored I kept watching the trainwreck, though I did hit the fast forward frequently.

I always felt like Arnie\'s sotto voce statement was \"Who do I have to kill to get off this dog?!!\"

no no

until you have seen:

\"The Item\"

or

\"Pauly Shore\'s The Bogus Witch Project\"

I know it\'s a spoof on blair witch but it just made no sense...

The Wayan\'s Scary Movies were how you make a spoof.

Those 2 films above , are the worst movies I\'ve ever seen (and I have seen the so called advertised worst movie ever \"plan 9 from outer space\").

I have to say Batman And Robin is a bit naff. But for a sense of perspective on what makes for a really bad film I think everyone should see Ticker, o-h m-y G-o-d, that was truly execrable. Then there\'s Future War, Soultaker, The Incredible Melting Man... <shudder>

Batman and Robin...

I would tell the library you want your 2 hours back!! Demand the refund.

I actually paid to go see this piece o crap.

It goes to show how out of touch Hollywood is with audiences. I think George freaking Clooney owes me an apology for that.

They took a cool character (dark, solo, avenger) and gave him a family.

I was a (and still am) a Batman fan. I remember the build up to the first Tim Burton Batman. Even that wasn\'t dark enough. It was close to good, but had enough cheesy stuff to make me cringe.

The series went down from their, although the one with Val Kilmer had a few bright spots.

I avoided Batman Begins until just recently, when I could watch it on DVD. Actually, that was very solid. I probably had low expectations, but I liked it. Maybe a little slow on the build-up, but the story was intriguing. Gary Oldman was great as James Gordon, and I love the way they filmed Batman\'s first appearance. It was very \'horror-movie-esque\', and the idea that Batman fills the bad guys with fear was brought across very well.

I also liked the way they presented Bruce Wayne as Batmans \'mask\'.

Starship troopers 2 is still the worst I\'ve seen. There is 94 minutes I truely wish I had back.

I have seen it too, and I was very schocked to see that a movie with so many famous actors sucked so badly!

I mean, it was horrible and a movie like that should never have a budget big enough to hire famous actors in my opinion.

Hey what do you know. We have something else in comon Supervike. I love Batman too. I like that he was a super detective instead of a super strong guy.

Batman and Robin was a true stinker. But I don\'t think its the worst. Anyone remember Highlander 2~4. Now those were some real stinkers. I didn\'t care too much for Land of the Dead either.

I still say House of the Dead is the worse movie ever made. I think I would watch Batman and Robin before I watched that again. :|~

Nathan Shumate of Cold Fusion Video Reviews has opined about possibly the worst movie ever made: a French abomination called \"I Stand Alone,\" which is about a guy who hates everything and spends the entire movie monologuing about how much life sucks and how he\'s so much better than everyone else.

\"I Stand Alone\" is the only movie Shumate has reviewed that received five beakers; other bad movies receive only one.

Hey, I never said it was the worst movie ever. I mean, except for the frequent shots of batman\'s latex butt, I could enjoy the movie if I just turned off the sound (except the bad animation sequences).
the make-up and suit on Arnold were incredible - even if they didn\'t really fit the Dr. Freeze of the comics. And Uma Thurman is, well, Uma Thurman. Fighting was campy but decent and would have looked fine with \"Biff!\" \"Bam\" etc. pasted over the screen.

I\'m sure I\'ve seen worse. I still say The Man Who Fell to Earth was worse, but though it starred David Bowie, I think he\'s where the whole budget went (small I mean). This had to have the funding of the gods yet even the comissioner Gordon actor sounded like he was reading the script for the first time.
