Remember 50-75% off Rackham? Simple Miniature Games?

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on the situation:

1. Did you get your order?
2. How quickly?
3. Any idea why it may be delayed?

:(..... I e-mailed them a week or two ago but still haven\'t got a reply that isn\'t automated.

Took about two weeks for mine to arrive.

But iv heard from someone else that they are pretty shite at answering emails. The fella had set two or three, then sent another saying that he was going get paypal to withdraw his payment; they replied to that.

So just get a little pushy with them, they should listen to you then lol

I ordered mine last week and haven\'t received but I wouldn\'t worry too much just yet.The postal strikes have caused absolute mayhem with parcels etc here...they may also be snowed under with the amount of orders as the numbers dropped very quickly on a lot of the rackham stuff they were clearing...

Also, from past experience, when online mini retailers have closeout sales they often get completely hammered - usually way beyond what they thought they were going to be dealing with. They might just be swamped.

*edit* Not that it\'s an excuse for not sending you your stuff or at least contacting you back when you ask about it.

Our postal service is bad but the recent strikes have left some serious backlogs. Received letters this week dated 4 weeks ago.
Drop them a hint about recalling payment if no response. That could wake them up.

Try giving them a call. Graham\'s actually a decent , helpful chap. There\'s probably a simple reason.

Also, I think it said to allow 28 days delivery. This may be in the UK, so probably more to North America.

I got mine in about ten days I think. I remember that I gave them the wrong postcode and emailed them and got a response the next day saying they\'d changed it then there were emails to show it going through the picking stage etc. Generally very happy with the service - I\'d guess postal strikes and mass of orders may be playing a big part here

I got an email within a couple of days saying my order was being picked then heard nothing for 5 weeks. Emailed a couple of times (got the automated response) and eventually got a reply saying they had been inundated with orders (no surprise) and the stock levels on the website had been wrong due to phone and mail orders not updating the amount showing on the website.

The upshot being that half the things I ordered were no longer in stock. I was offered alternatives but in the end asked for a refund of the out of stock items which was processed the next day.

Was disappointed with the models I really wanted no longer being in stock but it happens :(

Once they got in contact I did receive great, friendly service, but 4-5 weeks from being told my order is being processed to being told things are out of stock was a little irritating.

My stuff arrived fairly quickly but was missing one blister. I emailed them a couple of times regarding the missing blister but got none back. This was weeks ago and its just got pushed back on my list of priorities and i cant be bothered chasing it up now.

Got a reply, he Graeme said I could get a refund if it doesn\'t arrive in 2-3 days. I may wait a little longer because I really do want the figures..

Me too, and I thought they had forgotten about it, but I got a refund recently through Pay Pal. Might be the same for you.

And Ainu - if they are saying you can get a refund if it doesn\'t arrive in a few days it kinda sounds to me like they haven\'t sent it out yet. Perhaps that\'s just me being over cynical, but if they had sent it they\'d surely want to check why it hadn\'t arrived with you.

He alaso mentioned it was shipped September 17th. :p
 
I got the bulk of my order fairly quickly, but it was missing 3 items - one they had detailed and refunded in time, but the other two I\'m still waiting on, from the middle of September. Postage problems more to blame for that again though, I think.
