I\'ve been working on finishing my scouts (Yes!! A squad!! !!)

And I\'ve been wondering what that little patch is on their thigh and how do paint it...

As you can see from this photo (Although not central as I took the photo for something else, but only thought of it when I looked)

if its on the right thigh then they are holders for shotgun shells so paint them as leather

they can be painted as nylon too...all the sleeves that slip on the butt of a shotgun to hold shells are modern stretchy materials...
