Got a bit of time this weekend to do some painting and have made a good bit of progress on this mini from Steve Buddle's Eolith 54 range,

I am quite happy so far, a couple of parts I need to work on some more, the eyes especially as they are not right yet I know but I think it is going in the right direction.

Thanks for the remarks guys, I still have the eyes to fix though it is harder than you might think as one eye is sculpted larger than the other and therefore harder to make look right, I've done more work on the armour and the armoured parts are now almost done save a few more glazes here and there to tint the silvers a little more, btw the metal paints I am using is still good ol' GW.

I'll be reworking the eyes next I think, the longer I leave it the less likely it will be that i will actually correct them.

Hello.

I really like the metal work you have done. Correcting eyes is a pain! Good luck!

But I have a little question: Is it only me, but does this face remind somebody Michael Jackson too? Sorry, but lokking on this mini I think of this awesome artist

Greetings, Taggi

I think the whole thing looks rather nice - it's something I wish I'll be able to do when I'm all growed up and paint proper. The metallics are great, I'm trying to do Fred Colon for my sister so I'll be looking at this for some inspiration.

No the skin tone is waaaay too dark.

Can someone get Dragonsreach a saucer of milk :giggle:

Here goes another update on Selene, more work on the face and eyes and a bit more work on the mini, the cloak at this point is only at basecoat stage.

I am itching to try a painting guide from WD for the cloak so keep your fingers crossed for decent results.
