About a tutorial, haha well...maybe I can do a quick one on the basic methods, when I get a bit of free time!

Just the basic weathering technique would be easier for those of us who are merely mortal to follow :) pretty please ;)

Way, way, way cool...

The sentinel is just freaking awesome... without doubt some of the best weathering I\'ve ever seen on a vehicle.

I\'d concur with others that it does look kinda like it shouldn\'t be working any more, but that doesn\'t stop it being cool as hell :)

It does kinda look like it\'s about to trip over that oil barrel, but the barrel does also add a necessary bit of interest to the base so I don\'t think it\'s a negative thing.

This is the first mini I\'ve seen this year that is actually enough to inspire me to do another vehicle next year... and that\'s a high compliment believe me :)

Well done, and congrats on the win!

That\'s thing\'s straight out of Captain Power or Battlefield 2142. The added armour plates give it a greater degree of realism, just enough that it could slide into the 20th century superscience genre. Very nice work, I was trying similar armour plate shading techniques on my Mammoth:

I\'ll be examining your work closely if I ever get back to this mini. :)

Beautiful work, Seb. Inspirational as always.

BTW: I haven\'t yet read your new tutorial. I\'m really looking forward to it!

:)

Had already started something that involves more brass etch (and laser-cut acrylic) than you can shake a big shakey stick at, but I feel it\'s more likely to end up in diorama.

No, a real vehicle, from a kit... and, maybe with a TEENSY bit of brass etch.

Sorry, no thread hijack intended.
