Okay, so it\'s really a GW Dwarf Thane on an oathstone that I did on commission. :D For the life of me I couldn\'t get him to stand quite flat on the rock, but it\'s one of those details that shows up in the photo far more than in real life. He\'s a bit shinier in real life, too. The blue tinted metallics have a sort of iridescence to them.

Negative comments always appreciated! :D

Looks pretty solid to me HakoMike! I\'d say in the 7-7.5 range or so.

The rim of the base looks a bit spotty.

The gold and blue work well together.

Did you make the rock on the base yourself? If so, how did you do it?

It\'s \"Loctite\" brand 2-part epoxy putty filler... gray exterior and blue core (EDIT: make that blue exterior and gray core), mixes to gray, stinks like liquid 2-part epoxy, and is really cheap in the hardware aisle. I don\'t know if it has a common name among the mini crowd. It forms quite hard and can be carved away with nice sharp lines. Carving into it (the runes) led to a little crumbling, but I liked the effect so I kept it. Light gray base, dark gray wash, light gray highlight drybrush, selective dark brown wash.

Yeah, there are spaces where the ballast on the base looks like Kitty Litter, now that you mention it... :D
