This store is utterly ridiculous. I placed my order September 8th, nothing has arrived. I\'ve requested a refund twice, and received no reply. What is there left to do?

have a word with your credit card company ian (or paypal depending on what you paid with)

i refuse to use these guys again and constantly keep on hearing about them messing customers about.
 
Hmm... I made an order about the same time as you, received the bulk of the order fairly quickly, but only just got the last bits last Friday.

I hassled them via email and phone fairly often, but as you\'ve received nothing I\'d go with the above suggestion.

I can\'t see myself using them again:(

Yep they missed something out of my order too.. I mailed them and asked but still haven\'t received the missing mini..

Won\'t use again.

Just tell them you want to make a claim to get your money back as you have received no goods from your order from September etc (this is of course assuming they have taken the money from your account?).

The credit card company should refund you then claim back themselves from the miniatures company.

Don\'t know the score with paypal i\'m afraid.

Basically the same, but paypal can be a bit stupid in the way they deal with things.

But you just lay a complaint (I forget what word they actually use) and then its up to simple to respond.

I think there is a time limit on it though, and at which point I think they just go about it anyway.

Hmmm, I had no bother at all. Got my order in a few weeks, got the cash back for one thing that was out of stock, and they gave me an extra issue of a Cry Havoc by mistake too. :)

Is it just that they don\'t do overseas orders well perhaps?

Mine was the same as yours Lono (except for the Cry Havoc issue as I didn\'t order them anyway). I believe the missing minis were the same (dark familiars, or whatever they\'re called).

They buggered me around quite a bit too. I placed an order back at the beginning of October, and finally received the final items to complete it last Wednesday. This was after several emails from me, in which I got increasingly pissy at them because of their lack of communication. They\'d left out one of the boxed sets I\'d ordered, sent me individual blisters instead of the Circle warpack I\'d ordered, and exchanged the caster for another, without bothering to ask first if that was ok with me. That irritated me, because you can\'t buy the casters in the warpacks separately (well, not retail, anyway).

They have finally sent me my order, and seem to have included a blister of shifting stones as an apology, but even so I very much doubt I\'d deal with them ever again. I just don\'t think it\'s any way to treat any customer, and especially not one who just spent the thick end of £300 at their store. And saying they don\'t do overseas orders so well isn\'t really an excuse. You have to pay that much more for the delivery, so I can\'t see why there should be a *decrease* in customer service.

Bad customer service, bad service in any form, is not a \"kink\", it is a flaw. Very rarely will it improve, even then, the rare case where it does improve, usually only improves long enough to increase profits enough to close or sell the business.

Not realizing you made a mistake is totally acceptable. As long as you try to say you\'re sorry and make up for the wrong doing. A simple \"oh hey, I didn\'t realize there was a difference in the casters Amazon Warrior, in the future we will verify with the customer before switching anything and here\'s a free bonus gift to make up for it, we value your business. etc\" would be a world of difference from no responses on multiple requests, no explanations or appologies, no information as to why the stones were included. They could be just another mistake, someone else could be missing those stones now in their order. As far as Lono\'s happy deal with them, I\'m glad you\'re happy, but there\'s probably someone who\'s missing that magazine and had to spend hours fighting with Simple Mini\'s to get it, or a refund, or even just a response, from the sound of things.

The fact is, as far as they\'re concerned (Simple Miniatures) every order is exactly the same, all they do is put the items in a box and ship them to an address. Where it goes means nothing after they\'ve recieved the proper amount of money in the proper currency.

So yeah...I\'ve never dealth with the company, but I hope they go under fast and hard and never return. It amazes me that there are so many stores with such horrible reputations that remain open and still keep finding people to screw over. It\'s disgusting, harsher punishment for these crimes is needed. No jail terms, just cut off a hand or something. Criminals don\'t need both hands anyway.

Simple Miniatures have been the sole UK distributor for Rackham products for years. Although, I believe that this has now changed, with Fantasy Flight/Esdevium taking over. I\'m not sure where this leaves Simple Miniatures.

I\'d start a dispute through Paypal straight away.... I think there may be a time limit to do this??

I\'ve seen SM saying that they service all trade orders as a priority over private customer orders. The fact that you\'ve been waiting since September with no updates or replies to your emails is fecking ridiculous and totally unjustifiable!
