You lost me there, DR. I simply mean to say that, short of traveling to the UK , we are out of luck here in the Americas (often politically referred to as the W. Hemisphere). A swede need only find enough Oarsmen and he can board his Longship and be there in no time. <sarcasm on>

You must have payed attention for at least that day Andy, because you are correct. Greenwich is the center of time and the Universe. So technically parts of W Europe and Africa are in the W Hemisphere. However, when MOST people say Western Hemisphere they are talking about N and S America most of the time. Shucks you is smarter than you thunk

Western hemisphere, I was attempting to be silly sarcastic but it didn't work. But if you use the Greenwich meridian then a great deal of these Hallowed isles are in the Western Hemisphere.

My ignorance is responsible for my failure to read you. I consider myself the educated type, and I am ashamed to say I had to look up the exact meaning of Western Hemisphere when Andy broached the subject. Although in my defense, the "popular" meaning of W Hemisphere has evolved to mean the Americas. I do see how this would sound odd to you though, because you probably wouldn't consider yourself an Easterner (hence your balking at calling Skel one). Especially since many of our common modern day geographical regions are named in relation to the UK. Like the "Far East" or the "Middle East." Furthermore, the "West" has come to mean former Imperialist, capitalist, democratic nations in W. Europe plus the US, Canada, and Australia. (In fact, it has come to mean much more than even this). So I suppose I mean to say that one's Hemispherical location can be easily confused. But in fairness, let me rephrase: Everyone outside of the EU would have to make extraordinary efforts to attend GD. There.
Don't get me started on education. I humbly assert that perhaps our system can be better in many ways than in many Euro countries, but it is our poor family institutions and declining values that is responsible for the decay of rational thought.
I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot twice in row, but I think that's a conversation best left WAAAAAAAY THE HELL ALONE!!!

unfortunately im in a heavy painting jam at the moment, just trying to finish the marine and deamon, and touch up the grot tank to GD. not feeling the flow though :/ but there should be some updates soon.

Sweden is actually located in the Eastern Hemisphere. The Western Hemisphere's east limit is the prime meridian which runs through London. Sweden is east of that.
EDIT: Oh dear, I am slow. Where the heck is my coffee...

Dennis I have to take my hat off for you, what a great enterprise to suck a IKEA meatball through a straw, would never had thought of that myself. Now i know what to do next time my wife wants too go to IKEA. imagine her surprise when I say when are we leaving I am looking forward too go there
