Oh yeah, great to see your take on a historical figure. That banner is really fantastic. Although I am a little shocked by the lack of skulls.

cheers Bailey, yeah thats exactly what the judges in germany said, "wow looks great, but.. no skulls, sorry, we cant give this a gold medallion". guess i had to learn the hard way that at least 30 skulls should be included in any miniature/base. and it does look really naked without em, thinking about it.

Um.. so I was looking through old pages of the thread and noticed you wrote this in reply to me, BloodFather.

You know.... I hate to say it, but the majority of his space marine is technically done in NMM. The purple armor issupposed to be metal. And he didn't use metallics on them, but instead relied upon normal acrylics. Only the gold is done in TMM.

Actually no. While Space Marine powerarmor is built from plasteel and adamantium, it's encased in a shell of Ceramite, which is a ceramic material. ;)

Skel, your dogs are looking great. Looking forward to the whole piece. I was thinking.. When you consider these as a regiment, do you know if GD entries that are regiments must adhere to the game rules for what constitutes a regiment, or is it looser like "regiment equals several minis in a group" or some such?
