Me too!!! I don't know where to start though. What set(s) do you suggest we buy, Skel???

Edit: I thought I quoted Oistene when he said how much he wanted the Hirst Arts stuff...

hey Finn nice to see you again!

I don't smoke mushrooms... :)
really? ;)

I saw some guy who was doing a lot of Chaos Dwarves who did all his banners from cut up tooth paste tubes. The ones partly made by metal is apparently very easy to shape the way you want them, has a perfect thickness and are easy to cut. Might be worth checking out. Other tubes might work as well, like mayo or caviar. Not sure. .

thats a great idea actually, perhaps a better way to create a worn look. not sure it will be flat enough though? oh have to find out :good:

Place a weapon each on the ground maybe? As if they started fighting with weapons and lost/dropped them and continued fighting with their fists.
yep that was one of my original ideas too

I've been away for a long time. It's good to see SOMEONE is still painting at least. :p Looking forward to see the finished frog-thing.
ah yeah, the frog thing... eh... on the shelf on steady 90% :dazed: . damn. ill see when i can find energy/interest to finish that one...

Awesome banner! Maybe they could be fighting over who gets to read the White Dwarf first? Not to hard to print out a tiny copy of the cover :)

painted a skirt! just a little cleaning up to do, mainly under the skirt. as he was a nobleman i wanted him to get something more than just something plain colored. fairly happy with this :) now for the metal!

Looking good. Seems like maybe a tough freehand to pull off. Is it one of those visual eye trick freehands? You know, where it looks more complex than it is because the artist fools the eye?

looking great so far. doubly impressive the for the time spent.

I find the best approach to bad weather is to go out in it as much as possible. with the right clothes on its not so bad. outdoors is good for the soul what ever the weather

Well, it's nice to know that, even with the rain, that guy still loves Gothenburg. Of course if you don't like the weather you can move out here to LA, our west coast has pretty nice weather. Sure, every so often the ground will open up and try to swallow us or try to knock our buildings down, but you get used to it.

The freehand on that figure looks awesome, great way to make him look like an undead king/nobleman. This is turning into a neat moody piece (I guess fitting with the drab weather) and I'm excited to see what you do for his base.

Just to cheer you up I thought I'd show you a pic of Lewes it's constantly raining here too .....oh wait no it's blazing sun shine;)

^^^You shut up, Florida!!!

I live in the rain capital of America. So I feel your pain, Skel. Not a flake of snow all winter, which is unusual here too. I am a strange one, though. I love a thunder storm in the summer. The more violent, the better. Digganob knows what I mean. But it never storms out here. Just rain. Tiny drizzling rain. I feel your pain, Swede.
