I see what your going for. A lot of potential there. Would it work for a squad entry even though it's not a squad in the traditional sense?

I think I found my hounds for the sled though, because these things come chained which is cool. I need to look into some more of the FW 40k stuff, I ignore that stuff since I'm such a fantasy buff but some of the sculpts are just damn cool...

yepp thats the guy. i have changed the angle of his right arm, will make him hold a banner instead.

i see no problem calling the pack a squadron of five models. just because it hasnt been done doesnt mean it cant be done ;) this is pretty much the same as a (for example) squadron that consist of a warboss and four regular orks.
irritating though as the kit only have four models, but i have been able to buy an extra doggie from a friend, so I dont need to but a whole new kit thankfully...

Haven't seen the sculpt! Really cool I have to say. Just love the idea of a squad entry that is more tied together like this.

ok admit i havent done much hobby after the GD's, but im slowly getting the ball in motion. Painted pretty much the whole first dog, really enjoyed the model think ive invested about 10 hrs in this which is lightspeed in comparison to my usual speed.
best part with these is that the whole model is assembled before painting, so no cursing when trying to glue things together after details are painted (greatswords ehum!)
only the metal piece is not painted, its just basecoated with 'black metal' :guitar:

started the second dog a little, original model following the same colorscheme. think i have to do some small conversions on the last two though to keep my interest ;)

The doggies look great. Really fantastic color choices they look all leathery and sharp like an old nasty cutting tool.

When Alfonso Giraldes got with the Scale75 chemists, he paid particular attention to the metallics. He wanted them to be better even than the old GW metals, so he used very fine pigments. My very first attempt at TMM will be with this stuff....

have to take better pictures of the second dog obviously, this is more proof of painting! lol. i got the dog-reinforcment but have to convert the 4th a little so i dont have duplicate minis.

Really impressed with the glazing on these boys the reds and subtle olive greens are looking great. I was chatting with Lee about your work before GD and although your work has that dark gothic look the level of finesse and subtlety to achieve the depth and volume is very impressive :good:
