thank you all :)

YOLO! Be brave with the water effect, friend. I've personally found that every time I do something that scares me because of its potential to ruin a ton of hard work, it always works and comes out very, very good.
i like that way of positive thinking :good:

What did you use for the tree stumps? I can tell you added the brush to it, but what is the wood? Store bought or real?
its i piece of a root i believe it was

This is going to be an epic experiment. Your base work recently has been off the hook! I always walk away inspired....about to PM you.
i hope you got the answer? my internet explorer went bananas after i pushed the send button, still processing...gah!

Looks great like everyone said! Will you do a SBS of the water effects?
quite possibly... i will take some images. but if i fail i doubt there is any sbs, lol!

not that much progress but its starting to come together. not in this picture is two ducks (im not sure ill use), another fish, the line from the fishing rod with a small worm, and of course the terrain piece from last update. was also building the frames for the mould yesterday, so its mostly good to go for water effect now after i sealed it with tons of glue and silicone.
i will probably not be able to do the water until next weekend though.

the water lilies will get a smack of vegetation later too, they look way to "plastic" at the moment.

anyone got funny ideas/whatever this would be the time :)

lights and colors are mostly OFF in this picture.

Looks great Skel, almost screams for a big fish coming to eat the fisherman. But I think the look you've got is spot on wouldn't change a thing

I guess you could throw an old tire in there, or maybe some sort of random easter egg like a rusty old bolter or something. Can't wait to see this one with the water effect in there.

Didn't realize how tall you planned on building up the water effect! Yikes!! Is this where you build up the water millimeters at a time, and then at the end sand it for 8 hours, starting with very coarse and ending with like 1000 grade sandpaper? Just checking...

Needs two things. The rusty man made object everyone as noted. And it wouldn't be a Skel base without a skull. But have the sea life interacting with the skull somehow. Like a fish coming out of its eye or something. Or an eel.

thanks folks. I did a ring... :) think i call it done now.i add one more fish but took it away again as it destroyed the composition a bit, and then it broke... ah, need to push forward now i feel. i do however have ideas for another water base later, perhaps a diorama entry for GD :)

quack quack... coolest minis i ever painted... eh. not sure i use these though, might start to become "too much"...
