damn skel im liking that doggy. You could of found him a nice collar, the ring through his skin must be really sore!

A real dog, my painting buddy Dexter.

yeah he'd need a collar, felt the power of a pitbull im very unsure a ring through his skin like this would actually stop him much, especially when the dog is a rabies bloodthirsty khornated pitbull.

although im a cat person, id say dexter looks like a really cool guy! :)

Would the chaos dwarves from the hellcannon set work?
id really like some forgeworld ones, ty anyway mate :beerwave:

I really enjoy seeing the progress on this project and I especially like the dark desaturated palette you are using. Not least because it's so different from anything I would do.

Sounds like you should both paint the same mini and exchange it. No pics or WIPs. Just agree on the mini and paint it with no conversions. That would be a complete surprise for you both.

I think Zab is on to something. That would be very cool.

Then you must be my opposite, there's no chance in 1000 years I will do what you do unless somebody challenge me to do it LOL And please don't take me wrong, the things you do is beautiful it's just that it's just not my style like at all.

Thats funny, cause some of the stuff your working on has inspired me on some of the stuff I'm working on. (love your stuff too btw)

Skel how do you sand the resin water block? I mean, is there a certain way? Can you use power tools or does it all have to be done by hand? I've never seen it done so I'm very curious.

I am touched thanks! Actually if I look deep inside and I answer honestly there's a me who would like to try, I think I am just scared LOL

When I polish my opal gemstones after cutting them, I use diamond paste and dremel, I start at 1500 grit then 3000, 8000, 15000 and for mirror finish I use a 50000 grit. I have 100000 too but it's fine with 50000. On a giant block like skel's it might be to long tho.

cheers folks, moetle i use normal sandpaper the cured plastic is pretty easy to sand although rock hard. its enough to reach 2000 grit, then you add some gloss on the surface (varnish, or vallejo still water, or whatever) and it become crystal clear.

Appreciate very much you sharing the banner work, friend. I always learn so much from watching you do these. Makes me want to include banners in my projects even when they're uncalled for. Can't wait to see this magic.

The more I look at your hell hounds (Forge World, if I'm not mistaken?) the more they look perfect for a chaos sled.

ok ive actually finished 3 of the dogs now so the project is starting to come together.
started to work on the last dog a little, as there are only 3 uniqe dogs i had to rebuild him a little. nothig serious just cut his head clean off and repositioned it a bit, and slightly changed some legs. should be ready to paint now.
