Why not? If it is a warband, the orcs drinking and feeding with the ogres, and you can see, there is a fight. Many things have great to the fight 8) A one more idea a chicken! 8) .

it would be cool to figure out something that connect the two other hands, i have to look if that is possible. like fighting over a chain or spear, perhaps an artefakt etc.

Agree that this concept rocks!!! And yes green skins and ogres don't really have alcohol problems. However, they do have a burning desire for human flesh. Their entire existence and method of bartering, etc is for the flesh of their enemies. Especially the soft flesh of human nobility. I suggest the scene be that of the camp, following a dawn raid on a trading caravan. There can be a small pile of treasure. Maybe a few cargo boxes, a small pile of silver and copper, a barrel and some foodstuffs. Then there is a cooking spit with some unknown meat roasting on it, and then they are either fighting over this spit, and the reason is implied. Or one of them is holding a body part in their right hand, the other holds a cooking utensil.

I I know you don't want to go too all out with the base, but you could imply a lot with simply a few barrels and crates and a cooking fire.

I can't seem to find a good LOTR mini either. That one is nice, I like the armor and cloth parts, though the sword looks a bit rough. I recently started one of those "quickie" projects with my chaos chosen, and it's not very quickie. But really impressed with how the Ogryn turned out, and your duel has so so much promise. As much a GW minis aren't the best on the market, they just seem to paint so well, don't they?

thanks moetle! its going to be mechanical parts in the head. some cogs n stuff :)

yeah i do a very rough sketch first with pencil, then a somewhat less rough sketch with dark paint.

no milliput here though! use thin plasticard instead and set it on fire (on the edges mostly) and bend it a little. both easier, faster and gives a better result. and it doesnt risk to break afterwards ...

I saw some guy who was doing a lot of Chaos Dwarves who did all his banners from cut up tooth paste tubes. The ones partly made by metal is apparently very easy to shape the way you want them, has a perfect thickness and are easy to cut. Might be worth checking out. Other tubes might work as well, like mayo or caviar. Not sure.

not entierly sure of both the guys right hands, but it had been nice if it didnt envolve too much conversion.
original plan was a fistfight but a small hand weapon might work.

Place a weapon each on the ground maybe? As if they started fighting with weapons and lost/dropped them and continued fighting with their fists.

I've been away for a long time. It's good to see SOMEONE is still painting at least. :p Looking forward to see the finished frog-thing.
