Lol, yeah I know exactly what you mean bud. I am like you in that I love those violent storms as well. The ones that roll in just before Fall are the best. You guys ever get lightning storms where you live? Now those are fun to watch.

i am really torn by these new khorne knights. sadly i feel that all that was cool with the blightkings are gone in these- but i await final verdict util i see some master painted versions.
by the way, rain here, what a shocker! i am also celebrating my birthday by working on a saturday. way to go :/

Agreed. These are just wierd, too thick, and uninspired. I mean, if you could sculpt ANYTHING to represent some foot knights of the Blood God, why on Earth would they look like this? Feel like they need to outsource some of their sculpting. Let Banshee do them or something. His Chaos Lord is sick!!!

I don't know I just think they are in line with some of the other ridiculous things they've been releasing, like the laser gun Arnold rats among other wierd creations. It seems like they are simply cramming detail into plastic, regardless of what those details are. Also they are everything that sucked about the marauders. Blocky as all hell. But of course these are just my opinions.

That's what I was thinking too, but I guess if I had a Khorne army I would be bummed if they just made a complete departure from the existing look. The double pokey Khorne sticks is silly. but the other guy looks okay. I bet some one will paint them awesome and I will like them more.

I think he used the tubes that are plastic with a sheet of metal on the inside. Not sure if those even exist anymore. But if you use a full metal tube and it's not flat you can easily flatten it with a hard, smooth object against a hard, flat surface.

painted a skirt! just a little cleaning up to do, mainly under the skirt. as he was a nobleman i wanted him to get something more than just something plain colored. fairly happy with this

some updates finally, and this time not just a weather report. Mike, i currently grow my throat bugs, hope to get maximun effect for salute!
anyway. pretty happy with the progress here i really like the mini although its pretty rough sculpted at some spots. have some weathering of the armor and the sword left. honestly the sword doesnt look so bad irl but in these pictures i see that i probably have to do something about it as it drag the overall sculpt down.
my plan is to finish this and the toad for salute, but im not sure i make it as i most likely will be moving to a new flat beginning of April, and that my friends is going to be loooooooads of work....
