Some rules questions that came up at my club recently.

Final strike, can you suffer more wounds then models left? If you have 4 models left and the attacker deals 6 wounds, dose the attacker take 4 or 6 hits from final strike?

Do things that remove abilities effect things like the Greyjoy rule "raiders of the iron islands" for +1 moral and +1 attack dice? Also Baratheon banners or lady stone heart "unending vengeance" rules?

Is oath of duty effected by Andrew Estermont's first of the kings men abilities?
Would you get the rerolls even if you don't have an ncu on the crown?

Beric Dondarian light bringer rule that says "when a unit would be destroyed by a melee attack" before being removed, this unit performs 1 melee attack using its lowest attack die value. If the attack destroys the defender, this unit is not destroyed but remains in play with 1 wound.
- how does this interact with to the last?
Can you attack this the light bringer rule, fail to kill the enemy and then use to the last to keep the unit alive?

- with R'hllor faithful heart of fire abilities
"After this unit completes a melee attack"
This unit restores 1 wound, +1 wound for each of the defender's destroyed ranks.
- can you use this ability from R'hllor faithful with Baric Dondarian's lightbringer
"when a unit would be destroyed by a melee attack" before being removed, this unit performs 1 melee attack using its lowest attack die value. If the attack destroys the defender, this unit is not destroyed but remains in play with 1 wound.
- if so can you attack with Berics ability fail to destroy the enemy but still heal and remain In play with the faithful's ability?

-Also do you gain 2 faith tokens per moral check pass when Beric is in the Faithful?

- If the Champions of the stag successfully charge a unit with the ride them down card, does the enemy become weakend?

Thanks for any help.

a) Final Strike- you only suffer wounds for ones actually removed rather than successful hits. So in your example 4 hits back.
b) since those rules aren't part of any unit's rules (ie. on their card) I don't believe they can ever be affected. I'll also point out that the rule for regenerating banners on the Rainbow Guard's card is an innate ability ( represented by the heart symbol) which can never be removed or nullified.
c) I believe that as long as you target Andrew's unit with Oath of Duty you count as controlling Crown regardless if you have an NCU on the tactics board yet.
d) That is a dang good question. I'm not sure but I believe you could use To The Last to keep them alive.
e) Another good scenario. I'm less inclined to go along with this one though. If the Faithful don't meet the stipulation to not be destroyed ( removing the attacker) then they are destroyed ergo there is no unit to add models back to.
also- only abilites/ rules/ effects with the same name don't stack so I believe the unit would get two faith tokens upon passing a Morale check.
f) I'm not sure. Could see this going either way. On one hand the Champions did make a successful charge which is the requirement for giving the enemy Weakened. On the other hand the ability is specifically under the Champion's Wrath which is their melee attack profile and with the Ride Them Down tactic card the charging unit doesn't make any melee attack but instead the target suffers x amount of hits.
I'm leaning towards the latter.
