My parents are my greatest influence in life. I love them both more than anything in my life and they fuel all of my passion for my hobbys. It would really break my heart to see them ever fight or separate.

I\'m very happy that it\'s working out with your kids. Your a great guy and you sound like an excelant father.

This really touched my heart ,
Jake

P.S. I don\'t know why you are sorry about this? It\'s a discusion forum we don\'t mind.

wow

Congratulations...that is wonderful :)

(although I must say I am confused as you said you divorced but then re-married the same lady again, so why were the kids away from you if you re-married the same person!??!)

Anyways, none of my business :)

Having a bond again has got to be a great thing :D

I also think it goes both ways.

WHen I was younger (1993, 16 years old)...I used to disagree with my mom alot, even though she was sick in hospital for a while.

I remember not seeing her often and being upset at her alot. Then she went into coma and i never got to speak to her again.

Cherish all your moments and I KNOW that they will do the same :) :) :)

Thanks again all for the replies, Sanjay I am sorry you missunderstood me, I got re-married yes but not to the childrens mother again I re-married a different lady. My ex-wife also re-married. Well not long to go now, I will be picking my daughter up from her house at 08:30 this morning and then we will I hope be doing all sorts of things that I should have been doing long ago.
I shall try to remember to take a picture of her very first mini as well.

I\'ll be looking forward to the pictures of the mini. If the saying \" like father like ... er... daughter\" is correct it should be amazing. Give \'er a couple of years (2 or 3 should be enough) and she\'ll be an excelent painter.

great story to share, really pleased to hear it!!

And I got to say, if she\'s getting into mini painting, she\'s got herself a hell of a teacher, she\'ll be passing you in ranking in no time! :D

Hey, Tim!

Got my tear ducts flowing, thanks a lot! We currently have our 3rd child staying with us now for 3 weeks and I just got finished playing a video game with her and my other daughter -who usually doesn\'t play- and I\'ve got to say it\'s the greatest thing in the world.

Silly, I know, because they\'re not biologically mine. But I know EXACTLY how you feel!

Thanks for sharing!

(And next time, prepare us so we can have some tissues handy.)lol

Hey, while you\'re taking pics of the mini to post, why don\'t you take one of you and her and post it in the PYP thread?

Tim:
Thanks you\'ve given me a great start to my day.
I hope that you get the chance to spend more and more time with your kids. Both you and they deserve it.

EDIT: And there\'s no need to be sorry about this kind of post.
Amid all the garbage that gets posted up here something like this SHINES.

Yeah, thanks for sharing Tim.

I\'ve four kids and they are my absolute world.
Cherish every minute mate - they give back far more than they take.

Tim - you are quite lucky. not only because of your children, but your wife for helping.

Personally I\'ll never call my real father to hang out...too much water under the bridge. you\'re a lucky man Tim.:D

Good on you Tim! I\'ll raise a glass at the pub (in a mature way that would be described as a good example to any child).

That\'s a genuine bit of good news on a site which normally only sees problems posted.

Huzzah!
