@Hakomike, have you got an address where you can get hold of the rare earth magnets on line? The cookie trays a good simple solution to transporting armies. Nice one. Your dog looks like he/she\'s seen it all before, do you habitually check the efficiency of you ideas over his/her head??lol

I have the website where you can purchase them, but it\'s at home. Unfortunately I\'m at work right now, so I will post up a link to where I get my magnets from later tonight. They do have very small magnets that, with a little bit of drilling and work, can fit right into the crisis suit arm. And instead of gluing it place (since even super glue after awhile with break off of the magnet due to its super strength), use a little bit of green stuff for extra strength in holding it place.

If you look at my gallery, you\'ll notice that I have a dreadnought that is a WIP. The entire model is magnetized so that when it gets destroyed in the game, I am able to pull of the hull and arms. The hull of the Dreadnought can come off the legs and be split in half as well. Magnets are so fun and useful. :D

I got mine at http://AmazingMagnets.com

The exact model I bought was D094B-0400
0.250\" Dia x 0.09375\" thick NdFeB disc magnet, Grade N40, Ni Plated with matte finish, axially magnetized.

If you don\'t get that exact specification, they won\'t work. j/k :D

And yes, the cookie tray is the best miniature transport I\'ve ever had. If I ever drop it I will probably feel otherwise.

Okay, I am one Devilfish pilot away from being done. Good thing too, because they are being delivered to the intermediary tomorrow after 8:00 PM. Final destination: somewhere in Italy, I hear.

The camo turned out about how I wanted it. I was going for more of a naval \"dazzle\" camo combined with desert camo. It\'s all high tabletop for what that\'s worth.

Tomorrow I\'ll try and take some pics in the light tent before they go bye-bye.

23 infantry, 2 crisis suits, 17 drones, 3 small vehicles and 2 large vehicles in 28 days. (Wipes sweat from brow.)

For Tau? Nothing. The army was boxed in its sabol transport and should be shipped out today.
Next non-Tau commission is a mess o\' Skorne (2 warlocks, 2 heavy warbeats, 2 light warbeats, and a box of infantry) and a large Dwarf army.

your paint doesnt look like it covered well it looks transparent in some places ???

and in my opinion for commission, it loks like poor effort in many places, but i dont know the price nor the expectations so

however it is pretty impressive to of even assembled/painted that much that quickly :p

I\'ll admit, it was a huge adjustment to go from 5 or 6 days/model average to a high speed environment. I had originally intended the project to last three weeks, and even then I only just made four. What ended up eating way more time than I had alloted for was assembly. So many pieces to assemble. So many mold lines to clean. So many bases to flock. I went through an entire tube of zap gel just in assembly.

As far as commission goes, you have to follow the golden rule of business...

GOOD, FAST, CHEAP ... pick any two. :D

I agree. Most people who buy armies from commission work are either looking to pay the big bucks to have a eye popping army or figure, while others try save money and have a decent tabletop army or figure to play with.

I\'ve done single mini\'s squads, and even an entire iron hand army for commission and the guy didn\'t want showcase mini\'s, just good enough from 3 feet away.:D

Remember, time=money and the buyers should know that. If they want a good looking army, then you gotta pay me more. Otherwise, you get what you paid for.

The 4 week time period is more than enough time to be able to do decent tabletop army and I think hakomike did exactly that. Now he just has to do a 1500 or 2000 point orc army in 4 weeks....lol
