testing new macro function

Just took the camera out today to test some of the functions... Took a few pics I thought people might find useful as reference:

Its funny how some stuff looks crappy until you take a picture of it....then its interesting!

Found the Smithsonian website, but can\'t see anything there - I take it there\'s no compo yet then?

Yeah, I like the H one too. I think it stands for Hydrant - where the fire service can attach their hoses, or where they inspect the pipes or whatever.

All from around my block (Except the car park barrier one at the beginning)
