Yeah, those are my \"chrome\" marines on eBay. I\'m hoping a shiny lure will catch a big fish. They are a plastic sprue coated the same way that chrome bumpers for model cars are coated.

Hmmm, so how much have I won this month...

GW has been good to me this month.

EDIT: A GW store opened in my town in April, and I really like it. The people that hang out there are friendly and not terribly spastic, and the staff is friendly and not pushy. It\'s also the only place for 30 miles with gaming tables.

Well I have to say Thanks to GW for the suff that I got, (Won an Eldar Falcon & a box of Spider Riders)

But the biggest Thank You was to Fran who let me buy the Full Manor House Set.

Fran: It\'ll never get painted like, but you\'ve got it.

Had a good day at Conflict Yesterday as well with War Griffon. (*)
Ended up with a First place (40K Monster) and a Second (Warhamster Monster) in the Painting Comp.
Generulpoleaxe took an undisputed First Place with his Space Wolf Terminators. (And he won a cake in the raffle, so that\'s his weekly food bill dramatically reduced.)

Is that the terrain set with the Chapel and Watchtower as well? I\'ve got that one and have to say I\'m most impressed with firstly, how snug it all fits together and secondly the inventiveness and customisable nature of the kit.

We didn\'t have any freebies as far as I know. But, I didn\'t spend a lot of time there this weekend. My wife dropped in and bought me a 30th anniversary fig! I couldn\'t go because I was taking a bunch of boys from the church hiking. My wife and I dropped off some figs for the LOTR painting comp though, and I won best single and best group, which then got me best overall (a plaque)! I was very surprised and pleased. I was hoping for a gift certificate though. All in all a good weekend even though I got no free stuff.

Averitible mixed bag of onions from me this weekend regarding free stuff (although not literally!)

I won a unit of 12 Brettonian battle pilgrims a week after flogging my Brettonian army! And a sprue of Empire Millitia and the new flaggelents, which I am swapping with Undave for a load of cool Bloodbowl stuff. I also won one of the badges by Undave having the longest run of white dwarf magazines (Well, Dave won it really but he was kind enough to give it to me so I could use it as a name plaque for the display base of my ltd edition mini.)

@Dragonsreach- I am currently putting together and most likeley painting 2 sets of the Manor house buildings for my club and they are great bits of kit, have fun with it!(although I think fran hit the nail on the head there. You big kleptomaniac you!)

Oh Yes. Managed to snaffle an additional Watchtower at Conflict as well as the Dwarf Lord Boxed set. That\'s really a nice piece.
Talking of nice pieces Martyn & I managed to get a good look at the Imperial Wizards boxed set. Man there\'s a serious amount of stuff on those sprues.
There might be only 2 bodies but there\'s enough gubbins to make the bo worthwhile. Conversions Ahoy!

I have a few pictures, couldn\'t get too many due to the C**p Lighting in the venue. Mostly Forgeworld toys.

The Pictures of the Painting Comp Itself are Sh**e. Too many *Deleted* in the road.
One thing that really P****d me off was some middle aged A******e in a bright orange shirt just picking up the figures and being really careless despite the GW Guys telling him Not to Touch. (I think my mate Paul said something to him, and with him being an Ex-Royal Marine it might have not been as polite as the GW lads.

However I\'ll try to post some pics Tonight.
Hadn\'t really had time as I\'ve been working hard to complete a Birthday present for someones son.
Eight Doctor Who caracters;- Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Tom Baker, Davison, Colin Baker, McCoy & McGann as well as a Dalek, K-9 and a TARDIS.
