For those interested (As I think I\'ve found a recipe I like for ork skin) ...
Over black undercoat, I went over the whole skin area first with scorched brown. Then I went over everywhere (Except the lower-most surfaces (Such as beneath the chin, etc) with bestial brown.
After that, I went over the Top-most surfaces again with bestial to make sure it was coated nicely.
I went over this with a glaze-wash (50:50) of catachan green, trying not to get too much in the recesses of the muscles.
Once dried, I picked out the toppermost with Catachan again.
However, this was still quite dark, and brown - as you can see from the photos above - this is as far as I got when they were taken.
Then I decided to try goblin green (Thin glazes) for the very sharp highlights, such as the cheekbones. This did brighten it considerably - as expected, but didn\'t look right. I went over with another glaze-wash, this time of Snot green, and it ended up looking as I wanted
So I went over the larger muscle areas on the arms in the same way (With less glazes of Gobbo as they didn\'t need picking out so sharply).
