I\'m working on two year-end specials for CMoN, and would like your feedback on YOUR favourite mini of the week that I\'ve featured.

It doesn\'t need to be the best painted, but your favourite out of all of them for whatever reason.

Considering the effort that I have put into these weekly articles, and recovering the top minis, I would appreciate it that whoever may read this goes through the links and replies in this thread with a nomination.

Note that I will continue with my top mini\'s of the week, and you may retract your nomination and nominate one of the miniature\'s not presently listed here, but that I have just posted, for example.

My favourite is number 3.

I just love the subtle tones to thes two guys, the realism and the sense of something greater around them which I get from the understated bases somehow.

For me it\'s close to perfection.

Theoden in number 4. The face is so depressingly good it makes my eyes want to leap out of my skull and flip around so I don\'t have to depress myself by looking at it any more!

Bills vostroyan radio guy, as it is a superb conversion and IMO better than the radio guy for sale, and a cool paint job too and it was for charideee.

Don\'t know what number it was and I aint going through them again to find out.

I would also like to give kudos to all the nominations, but especially the epic fire prism with working lights, a cool idea superbly executed in teensy scale. coo paintjob too. This very narrowly missed out on my nomination.

For next year is it possible to have the link straight to the pictures rather than the article thread? Theres a whole lot of clicking and I could see how some people would easily get fed up with it and not bother voting, which is a shame considering the effort Ainu and especially the artists have put into this!

I think you should leave the article links in, but you could also put the pictures of each model in your post too so that you can view them in this actual thread. That\'s probably a bit more work, but having all of them at the top so they can be seen instantly would be handy.

Firstly I want to say a big thanks to Aniulainour you’ve made my last two lunch breaks much more entertaining and also to those all those who submit models you’ve all got a lot more guts than I do.

Any way what a great way to spend my lunch looking over these amazing paint jobs and wow how hard is it to one over another but come to a decision I have. It has to be number two, one I love the model its just such a great peace being a chaos player myself id love to have that in my collection, secondly the paint job on the back of his cape with the chaos star!!!!! I know it’s not to every ones taste but to me….. well it’s the fact that its there but not in your face.

Then finally you have the banner the blood coming down it is just inspiration. There’s so much more I could say but my lunch is almost up and the boss is giving me the evil eye.

smudge, you don\'t have to put pics up for voting.
you can always use the wip thread for advice and critisism. there are a few painters who do this already.:)

Glad you liked the articles/mini\'s.

As for mini #2...

I really did like the paint job as a \'journalist\' and a chaos player, but the star just isn\'t something that I liked. The blending on the cloak isn\'t as smooth as we all know Kirill can paint, and I think that he should have been more careful without with the blends.
