tinting plastic canopies?

Does anyone know how to tint clear plastic vehicle canopies? I\'ve considered glosscoat with a little ink, but I\'m afraid it will make the plastic too hard to see through.

Anyone?

a think glaze on the underside will do what you want.

it needs to be on the underside to kep the shine from the plastic.

Any local art and craft store should have some \"paint\" that\'s used to make fake stained glass windows. I\'ve used it and it works real well.

Tamiya clear colours work a treat....and are permanent..

Back when I played with RC planes, we would fill a plastic bucket with warm water and RIT dye. Soak, rinse in cold. If it wasn\'t dark enough, soak some more.
