Egyptian Pregnancy test.

Here\'s how they did it. I cannot testify to the accuracy of this. When I worked in a museum I had a tour of doctors and I asked them, got varying responses.

The Egyptian physician would have the woman urinate on a tray of wheat or barley seeds. Then he placed it in a dark room and waited. Apparently the seeeds would germinate and sprout in the presence of the hormones that set off modern tests. Again, Not a Doctor I don\'t know if this works.
