Trying to remember the title of a book

Anyone help...?

It definately started \"Necro - \" something

It\'s by an English author, set in Hartlepool (or all places - to BEGIN with anyway) during the cold war

It was about a boy who discovers he can speak with the dead - and him growing up and being recruited into the Intelligence community and fighting his Russian intelligence equivalent.

It also included vampires and things.

It was series of books (I think I read 1-4 or something)

If anyone could provide me with either the author\'s name of the title I can do the search myself! Ta

vike,

the titus crow is good but i really enjoyed the necroscope series the best. his books were great. now if you really want to check another great series check into f. paul wilson with the keep and all the rage. both great books. dont forget the psychomek trilogy by lumley as well.

Good stuff!

I have read all the Necroscope books through at least twice. Uberdark is right though, I did struggle with the most recent ones...That still gives you 12 crackers to be getting on with however:D
