Yes >< I caved on the silver NMM and used metallics. It wasn't cooperating, and I didn't want to spend the next week and a half trying to get it so so. The browns are just blocked out. Not sure what to do with the parts that are still white.

Cool Trys!!! As for the parts that are still white, pull out ye old color wheel and go for something nice and contrasty! Adds a lot of pop, trust me.

Good news, my back is feeling better today. But when I got up this morn, the power was out. We had some bad storms roll through last night. But it's on again and maybe I can get some painting done today. Yay!!!!!

Still searching for the best tent/light/camera settings that will allow me to not have to deal with PS too much. Which do you guys like best? 1-2-3?

I think #1 is the best. I like the angel and the view of the mini from that distance.

No1 best. If you can change the f setting to something like f16 to f20 you should get it all in focus. I learnt that the other day.

All have too much reflections. Perhaps use an A3 sheet of white paper to make an arch over the model to block some direct light?

I was out of town all last week, so I wasn't able to get any painting done. I spent the last few days putting (or attempting to at least) together Privateer Press Harbinger of Menoth. What a pain. It's an amazing sculpt, but it's too big for it's base, and it's a balancing act of putting things together before painting (and risking being unable to reach everything) and painting it in pieces (and hoping you don't mess up the paint when you assemble it). Ugh.

Some progress. The sting will be vines, and the rat needs paint. Then it's a shield and a mace away. What do you think?

And don't forget some weathering powders on the base. The stones look a bit clean compared to the wall. ^^

Went to the GW store and got some of those fancy photo etched leaves and stuff, and I didn't get a whole lot else done.
But I did manage this - this one's for you (meph and cass)

Need to find airbrush....

Well trystan seem you have me beat on "cool unpainted things lurking in the back" as i can spor Lich Lord Terminus....awesome mini.

Have Lord Exhumator Scaverous in a blister alongside Epic Skarre that i got extremely cheaply on the interweb.
