I was actually going to have a bit of a go at these metallics. Good for small, smooth surfaces, not as good for large, less than mirror finish surfaces.
The base is GWs Warplock Bronze, a light washing of GW Nuln Oil, a mid of GW Runelord Brass, and then a final light highlight of GW Mithril Silver.

Sorry for the poor pics - but I'm not taking my light tent to work too LOL

glad your liking your new job mate! I've worked 3rd shift most of my life and i can honestly say, i hope i never work it again The necron is looking great, his eyes and chest really look like he is glowing with energy without overdoing it like most people. I'm a big fan of metalic over Nmm and yours is lookin good.

I too had the borderlands 2 bug, but after going through it twice and being terribly disappointed with the Mechromancer i finally burned out. Now i've just been painting up squads of my armies.

I was starting to wonder if you had fallen off the earth, and 3 days ago i seen this: https://www.e2046.com/gallery/view/12144 and thought of you (in a purely painting kinda way). Hope you enjoy and/or get inspired for your own

Hey moe - you know, every weekend I see my Francesca sitting around and ask myself why I haven't gotten the airbrush out...

Was too tired from the weekend to paint last night, but I got some time tonight.

I'm not sure what to do with the leg plates/shoulder plates/crest. I don't want to make them body color, and I like the contrast the black provides. But I don't want to leave them plain black. Hmm.

Err how about as you have dark green on the cloak a very dark red and then highlite a lighter red opposing colours and all that just an idea.

cracking work on the OSLs i've never managed to get it to work never mind over metalics.

The black really has a bluish tint on my screen which looks good. Perhaps use some dark blue metallic hint with a couple spots of bright blue highlights.

Since we all know camera phones stink, I brought Imo2 home for some light tent love.

Still work to be done, and it's looking like a quiet night.

Moe - I actually broke out the airbrush on Fancesca. I forgot what a pain airbrushes are. Haha.
