Yeah!

I had loads of fun painting this piece of GW history :D Lots of good practice for easing back into dirty metallics, and freehand of course... At first I was going to keep this guy, but then I decided he had to go on eBay. I thought it would be a fairly good mini to sell, and I really need some cash right now, so there ya go! Also, I decided to keep the base simple, so that a potential buyer wouldn\'t be put off by something to extravagant and messed-up; I figured that a snow/rock base like this would also have more chance of fitting in with someone\'s army or whatever.... so I\'d have liked to have done something more with the base, but as it\'s for eBay, I thought it was best to stay boring :)

I\'m really pleased with the actual mini though, and I hope you like it too! I\'d really appreciate any votes and comments. The eBay link will be up soon :]

Thats quite impressive Bill. Cool mini and very top notch paint job. Those little checks must have driven you crazy.

An easy 8 for me, perhaps more. I was after this piece myself before I packed away my brushes. I feel inspired to maybe get them back and have a crack. Yuu\'ve set the bar high.

nice job! good job on the dirty metallics and flesh. the white on the checker board looks a little too clean though. 8.5 from me but I\'ll round up:beer:

I have a question.. how much of this model is converted??

when was it relesed?

and is this actually GW that has released this mini?
I mean... it looks like it\'s sculpted by someone that sculpt for GW, but not a GW mini... That is MY oppnion at least ^^

Voted already on this one, really like what you\'ve done with it. Skintone is nice (what am I saying? It\'s hideous! :|~ ) and has lots of variations, metallics are nice and grungy...Papa Nurgle would be proud of you Bill! ;)

Very Nurgley, I approve. The first thing I thought of when I saw the axe was a giant dong, of course, I wish it wasn\'t but I don\'t think you can blame me... the brass balls on the bottom make it hard to miss :D

You\'re a far braver man than I for attempting those checks.

Unfortunately, it looks like nobody liked it enough to bid :cry: Plus it seems to have timed badly with the buggered-upness of the external CMON site :possessed: Do you think I should try again, or just forget about it?

I think the way you set your auction out was a big bugger for this mate, I mean, you didn\'t even include a picture in the gallery. A lot of buyers I know (myself included) are very reluctant to even look at an auction without a gallery picture, let alone bid on it.

Good luck with future auctions, its a real shame it didn\'t go as it rocks!
