Unique display case

So my dad gave me this as a birthday gift:

It was originally this:



He replaced the speaker mount plate with a solid acrylic floor, so it\'d make a good mini display case. I might fill the bottom chamber with decorative glass pebbles or something to weight it down.

That is pretty cool. Maybe add a light in the bottom as well, especially with clear colored glass all around the light.

Thanks for the good wishes I\'m not sure what I\'ll put in the case, but it\'ll be soon since my other displays are really overcrowded.

My initial reaction was COOL!

Now that is a display case screaming out for a Sci-Fi Model or Diorama.

I\'d go with the diorama idea if I could find Buck fighting Ming, maybe with a girl in distress on the floor, Dr. Zarkov on a machine in the background....

Oh oh Vince you dropped a clanger.....Flash Gordon fought Ming the Merciless.
(And yes as a Kid I was taken to see some of those saturday morning matinee 12 reelers, in what used to be the Shipcote Cinema in Gateshead).
