That is a brilliantly painted mini but I hate the sculpt... Especially the face... And arseless

Stipled gradient is best choice for such a tiny figure with thin arms and legs.
Except sword that has stripped gradient highligts.

Ohh interesting, how did you do this 'stippled gradient' thing?

Stippled gradient tech is look like combo of blending and doting. I add little less water to acryl, than for a blend mix.
And i disribute each blend layer with finishing doting move on highlights, aimed to smooth the colour.
Thought i dont like to think about painting in categories of techniques.

Being a painters forum, I think we often think of the technique far too much....

It's the overall look that we should be seeing, but it's hard to do!!

That all said, I love the look of this (but not really the sculpt, as the others has said)
