Onto the next...
I started this a little while back, but needed to have it finished this week for the Studio McVey forum competition..
She's Akosha Nama, from their Sedition Wars range. The comp was a choice of only 2 factions from the range, so only about 10 models, and I'd previously only seen Ali's painted version.
I wanted to do something different from the original, but not too mad. I had been wanting to do an under lit piece for a while too, so the idea was formed for the scene. The cloak being such a big area needed some detail, but I wanted to avoid standard camo and try something that sort of could pass as a form of "tech camo", then I looked at the space ship on the blister art for the model, and that pretty much sorted the rest for me!
Think that this will be the last OSL piece that I do for a little while, as it seems to be the only thing I've done for the last few months, but it's the most ambitious in that regard, and I'm reasonably pleased with the result, even if the pics have bleached some of the more faint OSL around the arm and hood a bit.

Really love the cloak on Akosha it's worked well, and the base is cracking too. Any shots of the other base lit up? ^^
