*Very* OT - ski bindings

No Such Agency

OK, I\'m going mental here, Google has finally failed me. I recently picked up a pair of used x-country skis. But as I know little about the sport, I can\'t identify the bindings. They look out of date but I can\'t even find out what they\'re called...

Can anyone help me out?

You going to use them for telemarking?

What\'s the name on the front and have you unscrewed them to check for information on the bottom?

That\'s a very good idea. They\'re Salomon but the company\'s website is worse than useless...

As for telemarking... um no. I\'m still working on basic glide skiing on flat trails.

Sorry if my questions were insultingly obvious... I didn\'t mean to be.

I don\'t know if any of these places could help:

It took me about 5 seconds to find the page with all the nordic ski bindings on the Salomon Web page, the web site dosn\'t look that useless to me ( plus it as a clearly defined internship section which is a big plus for me :p).

As for your bindings, they look pretty old, but my guess is that somwhere on them there are markings to identify them. In any case, binding aren\'t that important when starting out, so if they work for you I wouldn\'t worry too much about it. And changing them shouldn\'t be to hard later on. Even though I would recomand just changing the skis as you get better ;)
