I got this mini in a trade from sonny and I have very much enjoyed painting her. I wanted to give her a kind of beautiful but dangerous kind of look and I think I got quite close to the image I had of her in my head when I started her. The base kind of came together on its own realy I may at a later date just give the static grass a wash over to darken it a little but on the whole I am pleased with it, in fact it makes a change for me to paint rock anything other than grey so again I was pleased with the result.

some of the highlights got washed out a little by the dullcoat stage but I think I will leave her as she is as I have a whole host of minis that need my attention.

Hope you like her as much as I do.

If you would like to vote or comment then I would very much appreciate it and you can do that HERE Thanks alot everyone.

What\'s there to get over? ???

Very nice! Good looking skin as usual as well as metallics. I have a point of criticism though, and that concerns the fur. I think the fur areas are too uniform and thus look a bit dull. Considering almost the entire back view consists of fur areas that becomes somewhat a major point for me. I would try to work in some subtle colour shifts and more depth into the fur areas. I have tried this on Rackham Drune minis, which also have fur cloaks covering the entire back side of the mini, to good effect. Don\'t be afraid to use a bit of colour. On one of my Persecutors I tinted the lower part of the cloak with greenish blue and the upper part with orange brown, for instance. The effect was rather subtle but enough to create a more striking look, than before when it was mostly uniform. :)

My experiences with resin just don\'t give them that sort of detail, espically at such a small scale (32mm I do believe the web site said for their minis).

Nice! The skin looks great, and I particularly like the green cloth. I have to agree with Ritual about the fur being a little too uniform, though. Another approach would be to try to envision where on the animal the fur is from. Like if you assume the middle part was down the animal\'s back, there might be a darker or redder ridge there, and then it might be lighter at the edges where it would have been on the animal\'s belly sort of thing.

Voted and commented, i think the eyes are too stary and her left leg is a touch to bright compared to the rest of her flesh. But great work.

Resin can give you far better quality of detail than any metal or plastic mini, actually!

Well you learn something new every day. I must admit my resin experience is rather limited, I guess it is/was just in my mind that resin wouldn\'t have the quality of detail that metal offers.
