Voting

I have noticed over the past couple of days that the vote calculator (at least for me) seems to be faulty in some way.
I always vote on the images that are displayed and always take note of the number of votes that I have cast.
Last night my total vote tally was 10666, but when I logged on this morning my vote total was 10655.
I have also noticed as well that when I vote the tally does not increase for a couple of votes and then it will start to go up but usualy one or two behind that which I had counted it to be.
Does anyone have an explanation for this or is it happening to others out there as well?

tidoco, perhaps, the system didn\'t like the number ending in three 6-es

I\'ve noticed something weird the other day: one of my miniatures seemed to have attracted some snipers, and with 116 votes the score got significantly lower. When I looked at it again a few hours later, the score was back to where it was before, and there were three votes missing. It\'s the fisrt time I saw something like this happening. Rather weird, but seems like the system got rid of three 1-s.

Is it possible that if people remove images, that would affect the number of votes you have?

I don\'t know if that is a reasonable explanation, but it is all I have....

Same thing happened to me with my most recent mini

Sniping is good! As anything that deviates too far from the mean gets removed my the system! So you get the recognition that someone has deemed you worthy to snipe, but none of the drawbacks of low scores

The system rocks!

Also, if people\'s images get reported or pu back into the \'review\' stage i bet they dont show up as votes...

Oh so it really is like that? I had no idea. Good to know!

When people remove their images the vote number go down

I keep an eye to see how many piccies are being removed, and some days its quite alot!

Still more beeing put up then on beeing brought down since the number of pic is increasing faster than I can vote on them

What I like is voting on some through links in\"Submissions\" when tehy haven\'t apparently been officially approved yet. Because of that, I\'ve currently voted on \"45074\" of \"45072\" lol
