Hy folx,

I recently finished a mini for a german online painting contest. This time I wanted something \"crazy\" so I decided to paint an orc. My last orc was years ago, so it was time for something \"green\" again... ;)
The Deathskull clan with their blue painted faces seemed crazy enough. lol

The claw is a scratchbuild from some plasticard and the head, spear/helmets are also customized.

First I thought I would paint the mini in NMM, but a friend of mine convinced me to try some very weathered TM. So I tried my best. ;) It was more difficult than I thought... :eek:

So, hope you like \"him / it\", what ever... ;)

Very nice indeed, I love the metallics. the only thing that bugs me about it is the pouches, howcome you have painted them the same colour as the skin?

Thanks for the feedback! :)

@Bignastyshark
I red an articel on CMON and changed it a bit.
First painted the metallic parts with boltgun metal (3-4 layers of paint to get a smoth surface).
Then, when absolutely dry, I added many, MANY glazes of dark brown. Then highlighted the edges and some of the reflecting surfaces slightly with Chainmail.
After that I applied more brown glazes and after that some green glazes. At the end I added some red/orange glazes to simulate the rust.
At last I highlighted some edges with chainmail. Thats it. ;)
But you have to be patience, because it takes a lot of layers / time. lol
