I agree

Although, i hope that there are more than 4 races this time. Dawn of war disappointed me that way.

4 races would be so typical. This far, we have seen Orcs and Goblins, Chaos (i assume), Empire and High Elves... if i count right.

Dawn of War was a huge disappointment, i had it installed for a week, then removed it.

Its hard for any company to beat Blizzard Entertainment in Fantasy Strategy games.

I disagree! I have been playing DOW for a year now, and with the expansion pack I have another army to choose from. If anything I was disappointed to see another gaming company is producing Warhammer, I was hoping it would be similiar in play style to DOW.

This new Warhammer game looks similiar to the TOTAL WAR games....I sure hope they don\'t play that way.

Well, thats true. Relic should have done this one also. DOW was RTS of the year, but i dont like it at all. Maybe i have grown under Blizzards wing, but the style of DOW doesnt fit. Theres no action on the battlefield except the players.

I also hope it doesnt try to be Total War in warhammer world.

The fact that soldiers in DOW are in squads kill some of the micromanagement in fights. But its a matter of taste. No need to start a war of tastes here :)

I\'m all for a war!!

I see what you are saying, and don\'t get me wrong, I have been a Warcraft/Starcraft fanatic for very long time, and its hard to fault what Blizzard has done for RTS.

Have you ever played the other Warhammer games...Shadow of the Rat or Dark Omen? For their time, I really enjoyed both. They are a bit dated now, but still quite cool.

The old warhammer games have a lot more similarities to the Total war series than to Blizzards games :p Which is the very reason they were actually decent. Creative assembly must have taken the concept from shadow of the horned rat and dark omen when they did Shogun Total war ;)

No, i havent played any other Warhammer games. I think i didnt know/understand anything about gaming when those were \"new\", and just havent come across to them now.

I\'ve been playing Warcraft III + expansion from the day it was released and even wasted a year of school for that game... Being among the 1000 best teamplayers in europe intrested me more than school lol Having over 200 actions per minute and humiliating opponents was more fun than studying books and stuff.

I must say that theres some abilities in DOW that intrest me, but i still cant find the depth in it that i find from warcraft.

Damn i enjoy conversations about games :D
