Warrior Cult of Athena (amazons + artemis)

I finally finished abd uploaded my Warrior Cult of Athena. The unit is comprised of 11 Amazons from Fortress Figures, and led by Hasslefree\'s \'Artemis\'.

I had a really fun time doing these. Long ago I bought the amazons to be bodyguard for a a Dogs of War Paymaster in WHFB 4th Ed. I never got around to painting them. Years later, Kev White brings out artemis which is just a fantastic sculpt. I decided on a different unit (also led by an artemis figure) to represent the bodyguard for my army though. I knew she fit the old unit well enough, so I decided I\'d do her, put the unit together and sell it. The project was worth doing, even if it didn\'t stay in my collection. So, here they are, finally completed after many interuptions over the last few months:

I was following this on your blog. Nice to see them complete. You inspired me to do a similar project. Although I haven\'t decided on a ruleset. I already started Kev\'s Athena, will be purchasing the Fortress birds shortly.

Excellent! By all means give me a shout when you finish them, I\'d love to see another\'s aproach. I have an extra standard bearer and musician I think, if you want them, send me a PM and I\'ll send them over.
