WATCHMEN release

I will complain that the boob:dong ratio was way off!

I have heard some women comment that it\'s only fair to have a movie with the ratio flipped for a change. Maybe they\'re right, and with the karmic scales balanced we can continue looking at boobs guilt-free ;)

Sounds like cinemas in cali are dog awful. I saw it in the Odeon in Liverpool one and i didnt see a phone flash, no babies nor annoying loud teens and this was at 5 o clock

I saw it in Hollywood on opening night (at 10:30pm, coincidentally enough) and heard not one peep nor saw a single glimmer of light from the audience. Which is the exact same experience I had seeing \"Dark Knight\" on opening night at the same time at the same place... I think Aliengod3\'s just going to the wrong theaters. ;)

The wife and I both loved it so much that we\'re probably going to see it again this weekend, this time on an IMAX screen. :D

Back on topic: The one problem I had with the movie was why did the blue guy have to be naked half the time??

It should be noted that he wore clothing for all of his public appearances.

If it was where a lot of people were going to see him, the government types would remind him to \'get dressed\', perhaps?

One could hardly call Antarctica a \'public appearance\'.

He just liked being naked.

Actually the reason Doc Manhattan was nude was the fact he didn\'t give a shite. He was detached from humanity and society, its society that says nudity is bad and that we must wear clothes. He only wore clothes in public because the government agents assigned to him made him wear clothes. Just as the symbol on his head was due to the fact the government claimed he needed a \"superhero\" symbol like the other mystery men had.
By the way, the whole sex scene with Night owl and Silk Specter in the owl ship was not explained that well in the movie but due to the fact old Night owl was limp as a noodle until he put on his costume, then he could get it up.

Yes, the costume, and being a superhero, was his true viagra.

The book is full of those little intricacies, which is why it is so brilliant.

I absolutely loved this movie... it has stuck with me since I saw it on Saturday...
All great characters, excellent acting (I really like Patrick Wilson, I actually just saw him in the movie \"Hard Candy\" and he was really good (but overall the movie was ok), and includes a scene which will make ANY man squirm) Rorschach really stole the show, but I liked them all...
As for dongs and boobs, I find beauty in the human figure, and it is quite a shame it is left hidden all the time... probably why society is so sexed up since it is \"forbidden\" and \"secret.\" It\'s just dongs and boobs! ;)
Anyways, I agree with an above poster, 9.7/10, and I will be off to buy the comic series, which will probably be a 9.9/10 yay!

Hey Damian, I understand you totally, I did NOT enjoy the theater experience at the movie, someone had the bright idea to bring their four year old to see the it, and I thought to myself, \"why are these people allowed to breed? Where is Rorschach to come punch them in the face!\" The theater experience just proves one of the themes from the movie itself HA!
