I just happened across this neat site where this guy customized his Playmobil toys.
I\'m sure you all remember playing with Playmobil, right?

Actually Playmobil was the first thing I ever \'painted\'

They put out a set of Playmobil Markers, that were actually paint markers, they were for customizing your playmobil toys. The first set I went to town on was the old Pirate ship. Gave all the guys stubble and eye patches, and stripes on their shirts etc. Soon after all my G.I. Goes had camo, My transformers had details, etc.

I ruined a fortune in classic toys with those things.

I was always more a lego fan, although I always admired the Playmobil in the toy store.

Last year I saw they started making viking Legos. I bought the $80 fort.

I like vikings.

They put out Viking Playmobil about 2-3 years ago, was sorely tempted to pick up the longship.

Playmobil has done vikings for years. I was given one as a present back around 94.

not this one though. My friend wasn\'t that rich.

Thankfully though we were in the Toyshop of London which had a sale on Out of the Box games. I definately get more use out of the games I bought that day then I would have that ship.
