Well, I gave blending a try...

Anyway, everything was wet-blended except the beard and fringes. Perhaps I should have gone with even brighter highlights? Please, help me to get better, I need it .

Nahhh, the colours are really great and vibrant as is, and brighter highlights would really just ruin all the blending work ya did, in my most deservedly humble opinion. I like it, it turned out a bit rough possibly, but that really just makes it look nice n\' textured. I especially like the effect (accidentally or no) on the blue petticoat that made it look almost ribbed.
I think now you\'ve just gotta clean it up a little, both in blending and preciseness......but that\'s hard, which is why I layer.

I think you have done a great job. I really like the colors. I am old and the pictures are small, I would love a larger one.Your blending is very good
