Hello folx,

after some days of hard work, my Castellan is finally finished. :) The mini has many details and I have to admin it was a rather difficult mini. :/
Hope you like it.

Very nice. The camo seems an odd choice though with all the other details and the giant cloak with metallic trim, I don\'t think it\'s going to be hiding him much. Would have liked to see some embers on the cigar as well.

While the camo does seem a LITTLE out of place - it is supremely done :)

And cigars are always going out and needing to be relit - and the ash looks great too :)

i agree that it is a little out of place but it is the best camo i have seen i think. and i love that little bit of freehand on the back, very subtle

Thanks for the replies.

As for the camo I have to add, that my whole Imperial army has this camo pattern (you can have a look in my galery, there are some other Imps of my army), so I had to paint the camo on Ursarkar to keep the consitent \"look\". ;)
I know it is a little bit inappropriate with all these other details on him...

I think this is excellent I had not liked this mini at all until I saw your version of it and I have now changed my mind altogether.
I voted and commented on it as I was browsing but I will say again this is a fantastic piece of work.

I love this piece. The cigar is awesome! I really like how you painted the black on the boots and the jacket too!

Nice base as well.

Holy smokes that rocks... I\'m about to paint some Viridian Urban War Miniatures and wanted to paint them with a camo theme too...

Could I get ther recipe for yours? Your blacks are beautiful too, how did you do those!? :D

Yes, a list of the colors used on the model would be great. I love the green and black especially :D

Really really nicely done. Your painting keeps improving, and this is one of the most impressive pieces I have seen from you! The greens are fantastic, and superbly smooth. The freehand is sublime. Voted and commented :)

Thanks. My voting results also show me, that I seem to be on the right way. Best rating of all my minis so far...
Hopefully my ratings don\'t drop again. lol

Colors:
- main color for armor platings = Catachan Green, highlights with Camo Green
- main color for clothing = Snot Green, highlights with Scorpion Green
- main color for back of the coat = Catachan Green, highlights with Skull white and Camo Green
- main color for boots and front of coat = Chaos black with a little bit of Regal blue, highlights with Codex grey and Regal blue
- man color for laces and \"scarf\" = Bleached Bone, highlgihts with skull white

The darker shadings of each part of the mini were made by the basic color + chaos black and some \"Smokey\" brown for the creen parts.

Looks great, I never would\'ve guessed some of those were Citadel colors. Keep up the good work you have an amazing army :D

Yes, I always use Citadel colors. But I just ordered some Vallejo colors for some tests. I heards the are more \"dull\" than Citadell...

Ah, I forgot something:
I add some grey glaces to the mini, so the colors are a little less shiny. ;)
