What miniature withdrawal can lead to

I have been deep in study preparing for the bar exam and haven\'t painted in weeks. I\'m feeling withdrawal.

I can\'t be held responsible for what I did.
I began to see minis needing painting everywhere.
I picked up this box of mints because it looked funny and I like mints, but, well, here\'s what happened

Sugar isn\'t a good surface for paint

Brilliant!

And a great idea. :D Following the overwhelming success of \"Paint a Penny\", now we\'ll do \"Paint a Mint\" lol

I\'m not really familiar with the Dilbert line of mints, but is this a real candy? If so, awesome job!

lol Why am I not surprised that she\'s unfamiliar with the term \"moderation\" lollollol

Oh, and Corvus, yes those are real candies. The tin (shown up in the corner) is perhaps the size of a credit card.

That\'s quite something Vince, I love your ideas, what you do to some of those violent fantasy minis and such :)

Unfortunately the mints don\'t come in Ratbert shape. I\'ll be sure and not eat a Catbert, Dogbert and Pointy-haired-boss mini so I can paint them too.

I\'m not sure what to do with the painted mint now. I suppose if I coat it with a finish it should last, but will it attract bugs?
Of course I could give it to a painter to eat. I mean, many of us get that much paint off sticking our brushes in our mouths anyway.

Of course, Tooshy.
I have a few I still haven\'t eaten.
It will just have to wait until after the bar.

And for those who asked, I used Vallejo acrylics not edible paints. I will have to try painting with food coloring next time.

I\'ve gone way too long without painting...

And I fear now pulling out my paints in an attempt to better highlight my newborn son.

Right now I have to figure how to child-proof my area of painting before the boy begins moving around the house. Until then, I need a painting fix. I think I\'ll go sniff some extender. lol

Painting station

Mine\'s the closet under lock and key! (not joke). i have a spare room with a spare close. Unlock the door, pull out the chair, the table hinges down (think side-ways cubbard) and inside is the paints and modeling supplies! Everything\'s safe from \"bumps\" and everything\'s safe from little fingers/mouths!:flip::bouncy::flip:

@Aryanun

Three words, Roll Top Desk!

I run daycare from my home, so all minis and paint MUST be out of reach! I love my desk, lots of drawers for paint, minis, sharp knives, basing and so forth, I roll up the top paint, and then just roll it down again no need to put everything away when in the middle of a project. mine is small, only 20\" deep and 33\" wide, so does not take up a lot of space.
