I'm new to AQ and to this site, but I was wondering who many of the characters take after in AQ?

Greensleeves = Legolas
Grom = Conan
Hitch = Jareth/David Bowie (Labyrinth)
Nameless = Voldemort
Black Newt = Blackadder
Viktor = Van Helsing
Seth = Rumplestiltskin (Once Upon a Time)
Morgan = Merlin (Excalibur)
Hellen = Maleficent
Tyndall = Princess Nuala (Hellboy II)
Tyrek = Prince Nuada (Hellboy II)

Thornwood = King Balor (Hellboy II)
Raven = Jon Snow (Game of Thrones TV series)
Kragor = Skeletor (from Master of the universe)
Gabriel = Willow
Lucas = Atreyu (Neverending Story)
Tigris = King Leonidas (300 movie)
Julie = Kira (Dark Crystal)
Master Pim = Mr. Tumnus (Chronicles of Narnia)

Who else is there? I sure wish there was a Toon Link in Arcadia Quest!

Welcome and that's a grand idea! I would say also:

Raven = John Snow (AGoT TV series)
Kragor = Skeletor (from Master of the universe)
Johnny = Perseus??
Thornwood = King Balor (Hellboy II)
Gabriel = Willow
Lucas = Atreyu (Neverending story)
Farfalla = Galadriel? (LotR)
Thrandir = Gandalf the white? (Mithrandir!)
Spike = Gimli? but with GW look
Tigris = King Leonidas (300 movie)
Julie = Kira (Dark Crystal)
Master Prim = Taumnos* (Narnia chronicles)

*Not sure how is that name spelled.

What is the GW look for Spike/Gimli?

I thought that Thornwood might be King Balor, but never checked. After seeing Prince Nuada and Princess Nuala, I don't know why I didn't go back and look at him again. I just ordered all 3 of them online. Now I want to play them as a trio!

I thought I saw some others that looked like Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Goku, and Medusa. Being new to the game I don't know the AQ names. I've only recently bought the core set and cherry picked a few others online that looked cool.

Also noticed a lot of animals that looked familiar like Gizmo!

I just assume the ones I mention because of their similarities to the original character I wrote, I do not know if they are "official", those with a question mark are the ones I am not sure at all.

I own both Hellboy movies and I linked the miniatures (Nuala and nuada) to the movie just the second I read your post but not before LOL. My next step was linking Thornwood to Balor since its almost identical to him.

In our group we call Spike as Gimli because he looks like a dwarf but with games workshop kind of style (hair and tatoos), since I usually pair it with Legolas and fight them toghether. ^^

Those animals are from the "Pets" expansion they are super cute, and some of them also represent known characters.

Nice find, I've never heard of that movie!

One that I'm surprised isn't a parody is McHammer. That name really seems like he should be a parody of Thor; the fig is holding a hammer.

This is indeed interesting, I remember doing that with Zombicide.

Now, my brother thinks this, and I agree:

Zazu = Zenigata (Lupin the Third)

Also, I dont know lots of the characters since I only have the Core Box, but I have a Wallpaper where you can see The Young Frankenstein (Gene Wilder, 1974) and Igor.

Completely agreed on these!! LOL they are exactly the same, nice tribute to them!
On the other hand although Zazu's face is identical to the one that Lupin has I am not sure if it represents him, as the AQ hero outfit has nothing to do with Lupin ;(

Indeed, Zenigata's and Zazu's resemblance ends on the face, as the first is not even a "Medieval / Fantasy" character or such. But I sincerely couldn't find a better match for Zazu.
