Hello tech-heads :D

Just wondering if anyone can shed light on these error messages I\'ve been receiving on start up after installing the afore-mentioned service pack 3 update.

AirGCFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.

-----------------------------------------------------

WZCSLDR2.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.

So far as I tell, nothing seems to be AFFECTED, but it would be nice to stop them appearing :)

Ahhh - they\'d both be for the old wireless then... In which case I can just uninstall them :p

Where do I do that?
Control panel > System properties?

Yep - control panel >system>hardware

right click on the relevant device and either uninstall or disable

Beat me to it. Hopefully it works for ya. I\'m still terrified to update to SP3, it wasn\'t such a hot ticket when it first came out...

SP3 BSOD\'d my wife\'s computer. The problem turned out to be a virtual drive (like DaemonTools) driver. I removed the driver from the startup file and it worked.

The irritating thing for me was having to go find an old CRT to boot in safe mode. Her 19\" LCD wouldn\'t handle the low resolution.
