Hi!
have some time leftover so i started working on a bit smaller project to keep for myself; what i think is the coolest ork-mini ever, the scrapyard-ork!
feedback and any cool suggestion s/ideas for the base or whatever is most welcome!

i\'ll try to update this wip at regular intervals in the future :)

Sweet, I haven\'t seen another Nazgrub for a while :D I definitely agree he\'s one of the all-time greatest sculpts GW has produced. I painted one last year for Golden Demons (click here if you want to see him) so if you have any questions or anything let me know. So far I really like your approach, it\'s a very different style from mine but it\'s working!

wow your version of the nazgrub is wonderful (it\'s always nice to know his name! ;) ) indeed its very far from my painting.

feels like that backpack\'s gonna be a bugger to paint...

He looks very good so far, what I think he may benefit from is little more contrast on the face but to keep him look old and weathered.
Just an idea but on the base I would go with a big lump of gold slightly hidden from the orks sight
but visible to a small grot (maybe some opportunity to do osl on a grot?:).

not sure \'bout the eyes, i usually dont paint red eyes on orks but more \"alive\" ones. but on this one im not totally happy with this. one thought is to erase the pupil of the big eye and make it \"dead\"...

I like the color of your orc sort of faded. I think the eye looks ok but if you want to go for the very old knakered look then go for it:D

I like the bit of grass in his mouth, excellent touch on the cowboy/old west feel of the Prospektor.

You did an excellent job finishing him, base complements the mini very good and I agree that the grass straw just adds even more character to him. The only thing I can do little grumbling about would be the rust in the last photo of the collage - it\'s little too cramped and vivid for me, on the other hand rust on the upper-right plate of the pickaxe looks great, so might be little of the photo\'s fault.
