Thanks guys I have had a bit of enforced time off work due to one of my key competencies running out (the training course I am on tomorrow is to put that to rights) admin f***k up.
So I am basically doing as much as I can as it won\'t last.

@tidoco....That Ogre looks great. I love the fleshcolor. The witch hunter is also of very high quality.

@primeval...I like the \'daughter of the frost giant\' diorama idea. I know the Dark Horse Conan comic had a great rendition of it when they covered that story about a year or so ago. That has always been among my favorite Conan stories. I have a Frazetta poster in my art room that was inspired by that as well. I can\'t wait to see how yours turns out.

Here are some Legion of the Damned hot of the press. They are some comission work I have been doing so I have had to paint them a bit quicker than I would have liked, it takes the enjoyment out of it abit, but I still had fun doing a bit of freehand on the shoulder pads and trying some glowing eyes.

Just to try and keep up with Tidoco2222 I have pulled out an old work in progress :D, the plan was to do the whole squad like this but I only managed to finish the commander :(, oh well maybe 1 day.

Yeah whats why I only managed to finish 1, it took so long to paint the white. I really like the look of a white mini though so simple but so nice, I\'ll have to get around to doing some more, probaly wo\'nt though :(.

To be honest, I sat with Kevin (rodnik) for several hours and just watched him paint, and it seems to have helped a lot. Mainly...take your time. Thin your paints (a lot, way more than I was used to). And don\'t be afraid to make a correction when it\'s needed. :)

@Darth - I hear you. Wish I had someone round here to work with. I\'m hoping to meet up with some of you guys if you come for Games Day Atlanta. I was considering hosting a CMON BBQ if you guys would be interested.

I\'m *always* up for a BBQ. :)

As for painting/meeting up...I\'m not that far from ya, if you want to meet up before GD we can probably arrange it. Just PM me if you want.

I\'m going to try to catch another day\'s worth of painting at Kev\'s sometime next month as well, if he\'ll have me... :)

the ogre and the inquisitor both look great and i can see a clear similarity in both, labeling them as your work (in the most positive of all ways of course).
and the ig trooper looks really awesome!
unfortunatly i\'ve just been informed that the last day of entering in the gw ogre contest is ... today -_-
hm but at least i have nore time to do them now ;)

been working on my goblin assassin some more, should have him done by the weekend and then it\'s off to do some secret and some not so secret sculpts:]
Sorry about the bottom pic, had problems getting focus off that dang knife and i know they\'re dark... just took them (night here) and didn\'t feel like breaking out all the lighting and difusion box

She is a freebooter limited edition from the Cmon shop Klocke is quickly becoming my one of my favorite sculptors a fine face he provided for sure.

the pant appears green, actually its graveyard earth with black, no idea why its green on the pic :)
the meat ... the red parts look ok but i painted the white part because i thoght of it as a layer of fat but it looks ... wrong, i guess i\'ll give it a new brown or red paintjob.

He\'s looking pretty good. One comment is that the highlights on his face look a little chalky. You might want to really thin down some of your base flesh color and give the face another wash to see if that gets rid of the \"chalky\" look. Did you hihlight him with pure white? That often creates that look.

Overall I really like your selection of colors. He\'s looking good, and getting a Vallejo set of paints for christmas, what a gift!!! :D

@Tidoco - you are mad talented... that witch hunter and ogre both look incredible!

@Kevin(Primeval) - that Conan diarama looks very interesting! I hope you\'ll post lots of WIP pics or maybe even write an article... hint, hint... :)

@Darth - Dawn and I are both planning on taking some time off and going to GamesDay in Atlanta and as I mentioned I want to arrange a CMON get together for everyone coming to GD. I\'d love to get together and paint sometime. I\'ll PM you and see if we can find a time. ;)

@TAB - Hair color ideas... I was thinking either platinum blond or black...

Hey Josh I was only fooling around, but honestly that one of yours rocks. I also liked the one you gave the chainmail and shoulder armour to I may give that a go myself. I am hoping to get a WIP pic of the Witch Hunter up later as it is coming very close to completion.
